Final Placing and Reasons
Final Placing: 1-3-4-2
Judge: Sarah Correll
1 places over 3 for his advantage in general appearance. He is more correctly angulated in his stifle and longer from hips to pins. Additionally in general appearance, he is stronger in his chine, and more naturally upstanding. He does grant correctness in the front end assembly, particularly extension of brisket and smoothness of blending at the point of elbow, to 3, making this a close placing.
3 places over 4 for his advantage in general appearance. He blends more smoothly at his point of shoulder and is more nearly level from hips to pins. He also has the advantage in body capacity, being deeper in his heart and deeper in his rib.
4 places over 3 for his advantage in general appearance. He is longer from hips to pins and more correct in his thurl placement, allowing him to stand with his rear legs more correctly underneath him. Additionally, he has the advantage in dairy strength, being longer in his bone pattern and more prominent about his withers.
2 exhibits excellent strength of back, for which he should be commended.
